  • Full Time Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

    We are looking for a person to assist the Food & Beverage Manager in the overall supervision of our busy Restaurants and Bars ensuring that hotel operating standards are adhered to at all times, guest satisfaction is exceeded and that the department operates within budget, especially payroll, training of junior staff members and supervisors.

    • You must provide an excellent product knowledge in order to maximise guest satisfaction and sales opportunities with each guest contact
    • Possess excellent customer care experience & attention to detail
    • Ability to motivate and develop team members and to work as a team
    • Must possess excellent personal presentation
    • Must be highly customer focussed with excellent communication skills
    • Will be an excellent team player whilst have first class attention to detail
    • Must be self driven and be able to work within a team environment and be able and willing to be “hands on” at all times

    A salary of between £19,000 – £21,000 is available for the right candidate. Benefits include uniform, all meals on duty, free use of leisure facilities and discounts on hotel products and services. Live in Accommodation is available.

    Flexible, presentable staff required to work on a full time, part time or casual basis. Candidates must be smart in appearance, demonstrate effective communication and be able to carry out instruction.

    Experience would be advantageous however full training will be provided along with uniform, meals on duty and full use of the leisure facilities.

    Must be able to provide own transport.

    Hours to suit, however will include evenings and weekends.

    Salary negotiable, depending upon experience, starting from national minimum wage.

  • Night Porter

    A mature and responsible individual required to look after the night operation of a busy 110 bedroom hotel. The candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, be computer literate and be able to work on their own initiative.

    The role involves front desk duties involving checking guests into and out of hotel, running reports, security patrols, basic food and beverage service and any additional jobs that are required. Experience in this position or a hospitality background would be preferred however full training will be given.

    Shift patterns will be 10.30pm – 8am 5 days a week and will/may include weekends.

    Salary will be between £15,000 – £18,000 dependent upon age and experience.

    Uniform will be provided along with meals on duty. Full use of leisure facilities is also offered to all staff as an additional benefit along with further hotel discounts on products and services.

  • Leisure Club Assistant

    A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Leisure Club. We are looking for an outgoing individual to join our friendly Leisure team. The successful candidate will need to ensure that all hotel guests and members of the Leisure Club are welcomed in a friendly manner and provided with required assistance during their stay.

    FULL TIME (TO INCLUDE EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS)

    The role involves:

    • Providing professional and exceptional customer care and attention to the Spa & Leisure Club Members
    • Promotion and selling of the Leisure Club Memberships
    • Championing and delivering Ardencote Leisure Club brand standards
    • Opening / Closing Duties
    • General maintenance of the internal and external Leisure Club areas
    • Health & Safety checks
    • Basic Swimming Pool understanding including carrying out Water Testing
    • Carrying out operational duties within the Leisure Club environment
    • Gym Inductions
    • Personal Training Sessions
    • Taking Classes
    • General administration duties including Show rounds of the facilities

    The successful candidate will ideally have:

    • Level 2 Fitness Instructor (essential)
    • Level 3 Personal Trainer
    • Pool Plant Operator qualification
    • National Pool Lifeguard NPLQ
    • First Aid
    • Exercise Class qualifications
    • Attention to detail (essential)
    • Customer service skills (essential)

  • Digital Marketing Executive

    We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Digital Marketing Executive to work in our busy Sales & Marketing Team.

    Role Overview & Responsibilities

     Work closely with Sales & Marketing Manager on Marketing Strategy. Implementing the digital marketing strategy and managing the digital marketing budget

     Managing the CMS – Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Hotel website, including updating content and images regularly.

     Write informal and engaging blogs for all areas of the business on a regular basis and circulate them via the website, social media and other relevant digital channels. Also source external bloggers to work with us on targeted campaigns

     Manage the venues Pay Per Click advertising, SEO and Google Analytics and analyse statistics

     Responsible for the day-to-day management and development of all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as exploring new opportunities

     Execute social media strategy through research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification

     Generate content that builds meaningful connections and encourage community members to take action

     Manage the Hotel’s online presence ensuring brand consistency across. Work with partner websites to gain as much exposure to their databases as possible. Also read and respond to all reviews published online

     Explore new online opportunities

     Responsible for the Hotel databases, grow, segment & cleanse databases

     Manage all e-marketing, create, send & analyse engaging e-marketing campaigns for all areas of the business

     Utilise the Hotel’s PMS system to gain data and produce marketing campaigns to encourage repeat business

     Report digital marketing statistics to management and team members regular

     Ensure brand consistency internally

     Organise/attend shows and exhibitions promoting the venue

     Manage all branded stationary and promotional merchandise, including monitoring stock levels, seeking quotes and ordering

     Produce all design work for the hotel including brochures, posters, flyers, vouchers, menus, stationary, newsletters, etc for the venue

     

    Requirements

     Confident in using WordPress

     In depth knowledge of all social media platforms

     Excellent writing, editing (photos and text), spelling, grammar and communication skills are a must

     Knowledge of the hospitality/leisure/travel industry would be beneficial

     Knowledge of SEO, PPC Advertising and Google Analytics

     Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

     Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability

     The ability to work well under pressure and turn things around quickly

     Genuine desire to embrace new emerging technologies

     Ideally Degree educated in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations

     Knowledge of the Adobe Design Software (InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop) would be an advantage but not essential

     Own transport is essential
