The Ardencote Wedding Event on Sunday 8th March will leave you feeling both inspired and full of ideas. Before you attend, we want to make sure that you know a little bit more about us and that you are fully clued up so you can make the most of the day.
About Us
The Ardencote is owned and managed by the Huckerby family – a truly independent, family-run hotel which now proudly boasts 110 four-star bedrooms, 10 banqueting suites and an award-winning restaurant. When you plan your special day, you can choose from two stunning venues: The Manor House and The Lakeside. Each building will offer you something unique; The Manor House is a traditional Country House designed within the Victorian era and boasts the Palms Conservatory with its ornate and classic design overlooking the beautifully maintained Knot Garden. The Lakeside, architecturally designed to complement the Manor House, is a beautiful waterside venue with its many sash windows affording views over the Outdoor Wedding Island and Pavilion.
We will work carefully with you and your fiancée to make sure that your special occasion is both contemporary and cutting edge; with extra miles taken to make sure the day reflects you as a couple and your values.

Be Organised
If you have your dream wedding in mind, make sure you attend our Open Day with a set of questions ready to ask our Wedding Co-Ordinator. Ask your questions strategically and work your way around the different stations. From your dream wedding location, menu descriptions, after-party venues and the suite in which you will be staying in on the big day!
Our specialists will be armed with plenty of wedding wisdom and we can introduce you to things you didn’t know even know existed.
Moral Support
Whether it is your hubby-to-be, your best friend or your mum we always advise you to bring someone along with you on our Wedding Open Day Event. There will be so much to experience and it will make such a fantastic day for the pair of you that it would be unfair not to share. You will receive complimentary bucks fizz, a goody bag and access to an array of photographers, DJ’s, bespoke wedding cake bakers, tailored menswear designers and florists to help you design your dream bouquet for the big day. Making your search, that little bit less stressful.

What to bring on the Day
The Wedding Open Day Event will be personal to you; however, we suggest a few noteworthy things to bring with you to help you make the most of it:
- A shopping bag: you will be given lots of leaflets, freebies and samples and so it is wise to bring something to keep them safe in.
- Your Dairy: You may decide you want to book in a trial, consultation or perhaps an additional tour – so bring your calendar.
- Cash: You may want to do some extra-rehydrating within our beautiful gardens. So, don’t forget your purse.
- Comfy shoes: Heels may complete the perfect wedding-venue-search-outfit. However, there will be plenty of walking and you will be covering a lot of ground. So, make sure you are dressed comfortably.
