We have had many questions asking us what the difference is between a four and five bubble rating… So, in this blog post we provide you with everything you need to know before you embark on your relaxation journey.

Ardencote Destination Spa is nestled in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. We provide a beautiful setting with a relaxing spa and invigorating leisure facilities to create the perfect escape. The Good Spa Guide reviewed our Destination Spa and Leisure facilities by a team of spa experts. Their team assessed our cleanliness, tidiness, customer service, standard of facilities and our bespoke range of treatments.
Five-bubbles means that our Destination Spa will “give you the whole package; an uninterrupted spa journey, tip top treatments, first-rate facilities and fabulous customer service. You will have a choice of wider choice facilities and cutting-edge treatments.

Be prepared for a slice of luxury”.

As a five bubble Spa, we have:

1. 85-95% criteria marked positive

As part of our assessment, Ardencote Destination Spa had to fill out a 10-page audited document that covered eight different sections, from customer service to food and choice of treatment.

2. 1-5 Staff to Guest Ratio

Our low staff to guest ratio means that we will always be on hand to guide, inform and support you on your Destination Spa journey.

3. 5-1 Facility to Guest Ratio

Our high facility to guest ratio means that you will have plenty of room to relax and unwind without being interrupted with other spa goers.

By visiting the Ardencote Destination Spa, you will receive more than just an uninterrupted spa journey, you will have full access to healthy snacks in the relaxation lounge, hair straighteners and gentle shampoos, conditioners, cleansers and moisturisers all infused with the uplifting aromatics of thyme, basil and Neroli.

What does it mean to have a four-bubble rating?

Spa’s with a four-bubble rating are classified as ‘GREAT’

A four-star bubble Spa will provide you with lovely facilities, luxurious treatments, delicious lunches and you may be sharing the space with several other spa-goers.

A four-bubble spa will have:

– 75-84% of the criteria marked as positive
– 1:10 staff to guest ratio
– 7:1 facility to guest ratio

Cancer Treatment

Ardencote Destination Spa offers treatments for those with cancer or with a history of cancer, making an incredible difference to their wellbeing. Our specialised skills include subtle energy techniques, mindful touch, reflexology, acupressure and comfort massage.

Our routines have been designed very specifically for the needs of cancer patients so that they do not need to compromise deep tissues but soothe tension and tired muscles instead. Our products have been Oncologist approved and selected to help repair and restore sensitive skin.
