Classes

Group fitness is one of the best ways for you to have fun and get fit at the same time. Our timetable is regularly refreshed to offer the most up-to-date and challenging workouts – and we think we have some of the best exercise classes in Warwick. Our classes draw on a range of activities, so whether you want to tone up, bulk up, or up your stamina, you’ll find a class you love.

Class Descriptions

  • Body Toning Class

    High Intensity Interval training Class using Body Weight, Dumbbells and Kettlebells. This Class includes 15 minutes aerobic exercise, 25 minutes body toning, 15 minutes floor workout and finally cool down stretches.

  • Total Body Mat Work Out Class

    Targets the muscles of the hips, gluteus, thighs and the upper body, helping you build lean muscles. You’ll be using your body weight and added weight to sculpt strong muscles in your upper body, lower body and core. This class makes the body work harder and longer and at a higher capacity, with short periods of rest. Lots of exercises based on mats.

  • Circuit Training Class

    Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. It targets strength building and muscular endurance. An exercise “circuit” is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program.

  • Pilates Class

    Pilates is an exercise method, designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance. Based upon an anatomical understanding of the body’s muscular and skeletal systems, the Pilates teacher creates a comprehensive exercise program for the client. Classes will focus on specific areas individually whilst using exercises that integrate the whole body to re-educate and restore it to optimum muscular and skeletal function.

  • Relaxing Pilates Class *New*

    Similar to our regular Pilates class, this slowed down and more relaxed Pilates class is ideal after a tiring or stressful day, the workout will gently engage your core muscles and glutes, leaving you feeling well stretched & relaxed.

  • Aerobicise Class

    Aerobocise contains a variety of training methods including exercise to music and step. Done to upbeat music you will have fun and at the same time gain results. Aerobocise guarantees to show effect by working you cardiovascular system and burning fat at the same time.

  • Kettlecise Class

    An intense, fast paced class using kettle bells to increase cardiovascular fitness, burn fat, tone up, shape and improve strength. Complete amazing all-round fitness. (Max of 8 People)

  • Yoga Class

    Yoga is the Hindu practice of physical, mental, and spiritual discipline, originating in ancient India.  The goal of yoga, or of the person practicing yoga, is the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility while meditating on the Hindu concept of divinity.

  • Legs, Bums & Tums Class

    Legs, Bums & Tums targets the common problem areas, incorporating a mixture of abdominal workouts, lunges, stretches and exercises for the legs, thigh’s, buttocks and stomach. A conditioning class focusing on re-shaping the lower body, using ankle weights. This is a high impact class, with an element of cardiovascular work.

  • Yoga Class

    Yoga is the Hindu practice of physical, mental, and spiritual discipline, originating in ancient India.  The goal of yoga, or of the person practicing yoga, is the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility while meditating on the Hindu concept of divinity.

  • Pure Stretch

    Involve stretch routines & core strengthening while incorporating aspects of yoga & Pilates. Classes are designed to teach correct stretching techniques in a fun & fulfilling way.  Regular stretching is so beneficial to absolutely everyone, from those who are very active & need to maintain their flexibility, to those who are less active and so need to release muscular tension & maintain maximum mobility for healthy posture.

  • Zumba

    Take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

The Leisure Club offers its member’s unrivalled facilities with an outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub to name a few and many membership discounts and exclusive offers within the Spa and Restaurants. Our experienced staff can provide an individual fitness programme, which can include the use of our full gym, cardiovascular or resistance training equipment.

    I am a friendly, enthusiastic qualified Personal trainer, Pilates and Exercise to Music Instructor. I am ready to help you achieve your health and fitness goals! Together we can improve your strength and endurance, get you fit, healthy and toned, lose body-fat and improve your general wellbeing.

    My sessions will get you working hard, but I promise they will be fun and you will get results!

    I also offer consultation & health Assessment (Health Appraisal, Body Composition, Postural Analysis, Blood Pressure and Lifestyle Analysis), Nutrition and Diet advice; Weight loss programs, this combined with tailor made plans will keep you in the best shape possible!

    Qualifications

    CYQ Level 3 –  Diploma in Personal Training, Anatomy & Physiology for Exercise & Health, Nutrition & Weight loss Management, Sports Conditioning, Group Exercise in Outdoor Environments, CYQ Level 2 Exercise to music, Level 3 Diploma in Pilates, Level 3 Award from VTCT in Designing Pre- and Post-natal Exercise Programmes.
